The grant under MC-135598 Sub 61 authorized operation as a common carrier transporting general commodities over irregular routes between points in the contiguous 48 states. We have been granted contract carrier authority under MC-135598 Sub 71. Contracts have been signed with the majority of our customers. Our general offices are located in Quincy, Illinois, along with maintenance and warehouse facilities. STI has established cartage agents in several cities and has terminals and trailer pools strategically located throughout the continental United States. Sharkey's growth results from a reputation for good, dependable service at a reasonable cost. The central dispatch office in Quincy directs all operations through the use of mobile communications and on-board computers, and also a real-time computer dispatch system which allows immediate location of equipment.

HOME TIME:

Drivers run the same lanes/area every week. (Where you live will determine what area you run.)

You will run lanes mostly in the midwest.

There will be options for home time (your choice)

A)You can choose to work, out 15 days and off for 3 days, followed by, out 15 days and off 4 days. Its up to you. Pay is .40cpm loaded and .30 cpm empty. (most loads are loaded)

B)Atleast 1 1/2 days off each week at least (Monday-Friday)... you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday as part of your work week. But you are home every week! Pay is .40cpm loaded and .30 cpm empty. (most loads are loaded)

C) You can be home weekends Atleast 1 1/2 days and the milage pay is .35 cpm.

Pay:

*$1000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR JOINING US! You get $500 on week two and $500 on week 3.

*Pay is around $900 to $1100 per week!

Trucks:

Our extensive fleet of tractors and trailers is among the most modern and well-kept in the transportation industry. We offer late model Mack conventional equipment, air-ride vans, reefers and flatbeds. And, all of our equipment is maintained by our in-house ASE Certified Mechanics.

Trucks are assigned and taken home. You will never be away from your truck. (Must have a place / find a place to park one)

Orientation:

We pay for all travel and all arrangements. Orientation is paid $100 each day. Orientation is Monday-Wednesday. Orientation is 3 days long. You will receive your truck the last day of orientation. Then you can take it home and get it set up.
