Home time varies by terminal. Home time can be:

PAY:

CONTRACTOR shall be paid the following amounts for all dispatched miles as determined by the most recent edition of CARRIER’s Mileage Guide.  CONTRACTOR shall not be compensated for any out of route miles, or bobtail or deadhead miles, unless such miles are expressly authorized by CARRIER.

 

Standard Loaded Miles:

$0.89 per mile

Dispatched Empty Miles:

$0.82 per mile

 

In addition to the Mileage Compensation set forth above, CONTRACTOR will receive, as additional compensation or reimbursements as follows:

 

Extra Stop Pay – CONTRACTOR shall be paid $50 for each extra stop not including the initial pickup or delivery.

 

Reimbursements – CARRIER will reimburse CONTRACTOR for all authorized highway and bridge tolls, and overweight/over-dimensional permits.  CONTRACTOR is obligated to provide CARRIER with the original receipts in order to obtain reimbursement from CARRIER.

 

Fuel Surcharge – CARRIER shall pay CONTRACTOR a fuel surcharge based upon the fuel surcharge schedule maintained by CARRIER and available to CONTRACTOR upon its request.  CONTRACTOR understands and agrees that the fuel surcharge will fluctuate based upon changes in the diesel fuel averages calculated by the U.S. Department of Energy.

 

Negotiated Rates for Specialized Services – On occasion, CONTRACTOR may agree to provide specialized services on behalf of CARRIER, such as repositioning trailers.  In those instances, CARRIER and CONTRACTOR shall negotiate a “spot” rate for such services, which negotiated rates shall constitute an addendum to the Agreement.

Truck info:

Trucks must be seven years or newer. May review 1 or 2 yrs older if the truck has low mileage.

 

Trucks must pass DOT inspection.

Freight:

All Freight is terminal to terminal.

Orientation:

Orientation is held in Dallas several times a week. Only last 4-6 hours, will get owner operators drug tested and leased on at the terminal they live closest to. Then route to Dallas for a quick orientation sometimes in the first couple of weeks
